waited half an hour for our lunch order and then waitress came off and said sorry we lost your order, what was it again?
We went to the restaurant with a family of four and found the service to be very attentive and the food selection excellent. The great new atmosphere really added to our experience. For under $60.00 this was one of the best values we have experienced. We will definitely be going back.
a good family restaurant, run by good local people
service was very very poor. Meal took 1 hour to arrive. They gave us all
desert. Waitress dropped the next table large tray of food on the floor.
Very Very Very Poor Service
We usually go to the White Spot in Nanaimo. The waiters and waitressess are always friendly and helpful and the food is always delicious. I especially love either the chicken burger or the veronica salad.
We just had breakfast at the Duncan White Spot. The food was hot and delicious and the service was quick and attentive. Great Value!
DISAPPOINTED, we've dealt with white spot for many years, never had a flop, maybe once, eat in the vict. establishment more than the \Duncan one, today we ordered legendary burgers from the menu, was priced as such, we were asked if we wanted, lettuce, tomato and cheese as this was all xtra from the menu price. so we actually paid over 10.00 for bun and hamburger patty. shame on you. 500% profit. we have the nicest waitress, no problems there, just the greed of the establishment. I would rate this Poor with a capital P. why don't you call it build your own hamburger.
Thank-you for your taking the time to express your feedback regarding your latest experience. And most importantly, for giving us the opportunity to serve you for so many years!
As I'm sure you know, our legendary hamburger platter comes with our famous Triple O sauced burger with creamy coleslaw and 'endless' signature fries, plus lettuce & tomato complimentary upon request. Our platter price is only $9.99 plus taxes which is comparable or less than other similar restaurants. If you'd like to add additional toppings such as cheese or bacon there are extra charges and these prices are all listed on our menu, so there should be no surprises when ordering.
We understand that value is important to our guests and we feel that the value of our platter combined with our in restaurant dining experience for only $10, is a great way to enjoy a quality meal.
That said, we've passed along your note to our menu development team and we'll be sure to pass along your kind words towards our service staff.
If you have additional feedback please email us direct at email@example.com.
Were seated with menus - waited 15 min for waitress to acknowledge we were there.Waitress proceded to discuss an issue with hostess next to our table while we again waited. Finished coffee & milkshake before food finally arrived.Asked waitress for utensils while we stared at our food.Asked for water & coffe refill- recieved water, never did get coffee or asked if meal was satisfactory. It took an 11/2hrs for 1 lunch special(spa & meatblls)and a burger.
Not the kind of service for $35 lunch for 2 people on a lunch break from the office.
I ate at Duncan White Spot Sunday July 29 and there were problems! The hostess took my name which I pronounced very clearly (and it starts with an L), but when she wished to call me kept repeated a name starting with an M. Of course, I didn't recognize it as me! She also took some other folks ahead of a family of 3 or 4 who subsequently complained about it as it was waiting my turn. The meal: I wanted fish and chips. The fish was very good but I had to order coleslaw because after asking, the server indicated that their fries were from frozen. I will not eat such. Then, the slaw was virtually tasteless -- it could have been water mixed with cabbage and sunflower seeds. Finally, the server, when she wished to leave my bill, merely placed it on the farthest corner of my table where it was very difficult for me to reach with my mobility issues. I moved away from BC 10 years ago and only recently moved back. One of the things I was looking forward to was the coleslaw at White Spot of which I had great memories from Prince George. What's up with all this?
wow is that guy ever a whiner. maybe its white spots fault that ur retarted and getting old and senial
